Our 2 Year Old Children meet on Tuesdays and/or Fridays from 9:00-11:45. This class was designed to assist those children who just miss the cut-off for preschool in learning about routine, following directions and interacting with other children their own age.

The schedule for the day is set-up in such a way that the children are able to interact with one another as well as the teachers as soon as they are invited into the classroom. This allows the children to warm-up to their teachers and friends at their own pace. Projects are completed with the children on a one-on-one basis with the teachers while *free play* is going on around them. The remainder of the morning is filled with stories, songs, snack and games.

Our 2 year olds make huge strides in just a couple of classes. It is amazing to see how much they love to paint, color, or play with play-doh.

Our 3 Year Old Program meets Tuesday and Thursday or Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9:00-12:00 . Children must be turning 3 by September 10th and potty trained.

This program is just one that continually amazes!! The progress these children make throughout the year is truly unbelievable. Their social, emotional, physical and cognitive skills just develop at such a rapid pace during this year. For many it is their first *school experience* therefore we make it as much fun as we can. All areas of development are worked on through games, arts and crafts, music and movement activities as well as good old fashion free play.

In this class it is things like getting into a line with minimal assistance from the teacher, washing his/her own hands, putting on his/her jacket without assistance that really allow us to see the children as maturing and becoming independent.

We love our 3 year olds and love watching them develop into these little independent children.

Our 4 year old classes meet Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00-12:00 or Monday through Thursday 12:30 to 3:00. The children in this class must be turning 4 by Sept. 10th.

This is a very important year for our 4 year olds as many of the children will be attending Kindergarten the following school year. We strive to have the children as prepared as we can socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically. We are aware all children do not develop at the same pace therefore, we keep the parents up to date throughout the year regarding the progress of their child. This way when the time comes to make the decision regarding Kindergarten the parents are fully aware of where their child is in all levels of his/her development.

We love our 4 year olds and are always amazed how much progress they make throughout the school year.

Our Pre-Kindergarten Program was designed for those children who just miss the cut-off for Kindergarten. To be eligible for this class a child must be turning 5 no later than January 31st of the following year. Our Prekindergarten children meet Monday through Thursday from 9:00-1:00.

The program is geared to preparing children for their upcoming Kindergarten year. Social development as well as cognitive, physical and language development are areas we work on with the children everyday. We use the Kindergarten curriculum from Garnet Valley School District as a guide for us when we are planning our year. This allows us to plan activities for the children that are giving them a stepping stone into what they will see the following year.

As with all our programs we keep the parents up to date throughout the year regarding the progress of their child. If there are any questions about whether your child may or may not be ready for Kindergarten we will speak to you as soon as possible. We have a relationship with the Delaware County Intermediate Unit who will assist us with any questions we may have regarding a child*s development. Our goal in the Pre-K is to prepare as best we can each child for their Kindergarten year.

Our Kinder-Club Program offers children enrolled in one of our neighborhood Kindergarten Programs, an opportunity to extend their day with arts and crafts, science experiments, reading activities, writing activities and much more.

Transportation is provided to Love 'n' Learn Christian Preschool by Garnet Valley School District for those AM Kindergarten students attending Concord Elementary School.

Students are asked to bring their lunch. Snacks will be provided by Love 'n' Learn Christian Preschool.

We are very happy to be offering a Lunch Club and Extended Day Program. The Lunch Club allows the children to bring their lunch to school and have lunch with his/her friends. The Lunch Club will be held Monday through Friday from 12:00-1:00. The morning children are invited to stay at school until 1:00 . They will have lunch together and then be invited to play either outside or in the classroom. This is a great opportunity for the children to meet other children in the school and make new friends.

The Extended Day Program (Afternoon Explorers) will follow the Lunch Club. At 1:00 the children will have the opportunity to remain at school until 3:00. During this time the children will participate in various creative and fun activities which will correspond with the weekly theme. They will also have additional opportunities to socialize with the other children participating in the program.
